I am fifty-something and work as a Salon Manager for the JCPenney Co.  I made
my first quilt when my son was a toddler, he's 33 now.  Since I knew nothing
about quilting I made a nine patch and embroidered in all of the solid
squares.  What an endeavor.  I began quilting in earnest about 8 years ago and
make  as many quilts as I can find time for.  the most I ever made was 22 in
one year.  When people ask how I find time to quilt, I tell them I don't
clean or cook.  My husband Terry would somewhat agree with that, but he is
very supportive.  He has two flannel quilts of his own.  I belong to two
quilt groups and one quilt guild.
