Hello QuiltFriends, I am Judy Green, almost 70 years old and live in Chattanooga, TN. I have been quilting for about 15 years now. I have been sewing most of my life, started by making my doll's clothes from the scraps my mother gave me when she made our clothes. She was a wonderful seamstress and made practically everything we wore and she taught me to make my own clothes when I was in my teens. 

I don't make clothes anymore, I quilt. LOL  I also dabble in knitting, crochet and embroidery by hand. 

I have been on the list almost from the beginning, but rarely post. I am not good with words and mostly lurk. I enjoy reading all the posts. On March 1st, I will have been retired 5 years. I have had a lot of medical problems in the last year and am pretty much homebound now so you all are my outlet to the world.
