2nd Annual QuiltFriends Retreat

Thursday, June 22nd - Sunday, June 25th 2000

Nashville, Tennessee

Our second annual retreat was attended by 29 QuiltFriends. We met new members and had a reunion with the members who attended the first retreat.

Our time was well spent on shopping sprees at local Quilt Shops.

We even took a class on how to do stained glass quilting and saw a demonstration on Fusible Grid that was used for a watercolor wall hanging.

We all had a WONDERFUL time sharing stories and seeing projects that other members brought.

At the 1999 Columbus retreat, the retreaters decided to divide up into two groups and try Round Robins and Row by Rows. The finished (mostly, anyway) quilt tops were presented to their owners at this year's retreat. You can see the results, using the links below. These are rough pages right now...but at least you can see the pictures! We had a blast putting them together for each other.
