Some quilt patterns only give you one the directions for one size of quilt/wall hanging. Usually, you can very easily alter the size of the quilt to suit your need. The elements of the quilt you can alter to change the size of a quilt are: block size, number of blocks, setting, sashing, and borders.
This chart may help you determine what size quilt you want.
