My name is Stephanie Bistline.   My husband and I  have been married since July 17, 1999.  We do not have any children, but we have two labradors.  Our yellow lab is a male and his name is Chance.  Our second lab is a female chocolate and her name is Reese. DH and I also are co-leaders of the Youth Group at our Church.  We are also in the process of going through training for Foster Care of children.

 

I am a school teacher and I currently teach second grade.  I love my job.....but would prefer to quilt all the time if I could get paid for it! LOL!   I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree from Ashland University in Ohio and am currently working on my Master's Degree through Ohio State University. 

 

  I live in Mansfield Ohio and have been quilting since January of 2002.  I have completed about 20 quilts in that time.  I love to piece the tops, but I hate to do the actual quilting, so I take it to a lady who does machine quilting.  I haven't tried PP or much applique yet (only the mended hearts swap that we completed a while back). 

 

I joined Quiltfriends around March of 2002.  I have learned a lot from everyone here.  I am looking forward to the next retreat where I can stay the whole time, instead of just dropping in for a day.
